What about the city space that is left bare. In a city full of towering buildings, are places left at street level even more significant? What about the significance of the "hole" at Ground Zero? Think of how that significance grew as the years passed and nothing was built. What about the decision to make the area around ground zero a memorial, with limited building? And, furthermore, the only building within the memorial grounds, a museum, is being built 5 stories underground and incorporates the remnants of the foundation of the Twin Towers, as well as exposing the bedrock, which the entire World Trade Center site was built upon.Dig ithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04675605904832119403noreply@blogger.com
